Capri Marina Piccola

Sun & Sea

A quiet and panoramic beach, close to the Faraglioni is Marina Piccola.
At the beginning of last century it was hardly reachable, and only after World War I it became one of the busiest beaches on Capri.
Only after 1945, with the opening of ‘Canzone del Mare’ it became the most ‘in’ beach of the island, for the international elite.

Still today, even with different bars, restaurants and lidos it fascinates us with the characteristic natural structure and the famous ‘Siren’s Rock’ that divides the cove in two different beaches.
The Siren’s Rock takes its name from the similarity with Homer’s Odyssey, after the find of human and animal bones in the Ferns Grotto.
